Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee (cooled)
  • 20 ladyfingers
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso and allow it to cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Gradually add sugar to taste.
  3. Briefly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee.
  4. In serving dishes, layer soaked ladyfingers at the bottom, followed by half of the mascarpone mixture and a layer of fresh berries.
  5. Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
