- 2 cups butternut squash (peeled and cubed)
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese (torn into pieces)

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven.
- Toss the butternut squash cubes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes until tender.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Set aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
- Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the dough. Layer with roasted squash, cooked sausage, mozzarella pieces, and chopped sage.
