- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream the softened butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Gradually alternate adding dry ingredients with milk until smooth.
- Grease a round cake pan and pour in the batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- For the topping, heat honey and sliced almonds in a saucepan over low heat for about five minutes.
