  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (100g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (50g)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (227g)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (120g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (90g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large bowl, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Sift together cocoa powder and flour; fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, dollop cheesecake filling on top, and swirl gently. Pour remaining brownie batter over and swirl again.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Allow to cool before slicing.
