  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add ground meat and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, meat mixture, cream cheese, marinara sauce, and oregano; mix well.
  5. Layer half of the mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle half of the mozzarella on top, then add the remaining mixture and finish with the rest of the cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
