  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F or 43°C)

Instructions

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the risen dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it on a greased baking sheet or loaf pan.
  7. Allow it to rise again for about 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
