- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp agave syrup
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Drain the firm tofu and press it between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cube the tofu.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together minced garlic, chipotle peppers, soy sauce, lime juice, agave syrup, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Add cubed tofu to the marinade; toss gently to coat all pieces. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté marinated tofu for 8-10 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
