  • 1 cup red wine (Merlot or Zinfandel)
  • 1/2 cup Fireball cinnamon whiskey
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine red wine, Fireball whiskey, sugar, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and orange zest. Warm gently without boiling for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix gelatin powder with boiling water until fully dissolved.
  3. Strain the mulled wine mixture to remove solids and slowly pour in the gelatin while stirring continuously until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or silicone molds evenly.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
