- 8 oz fresh cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced mushrooms until golden brown and crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and rosemary; sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in honey until combined.
- Toss the drained pasta into the skillet with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency is reached.
- Remove from heat and mix in grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Top with crispy mushrooms before serving.
