- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella & cheddar blend)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup sour cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds. Set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in cooked rice, spices, and half of the shredded cheese until well combined.
- Fill each bell pepper with the meat mixture and place them upright in the baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
