- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 green onions, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Slice beef flank steak against the grain into thin strips. Mince garlic and grate ginger. Chop green onions and set aside some for garnish.
- Boil water in a pot and cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and drizzle with oil to prevent sticking.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the sliced beef in batches until browned; remove and keep warm.
- Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet along with cooked noodles and toss well. Add back the beef and chopped green onions; mix thoroughly.
