  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz large pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta shells until al dente (about 10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add seasoned steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for one minute. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Once simmering, gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet along with cooked pasta shells. Toss gently until well coated in sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
