- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz large pasta shells
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta shells until al dente (about 10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add seasoned steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for one minute. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Once simmering, gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Return steak bites to the skillet along with cooked pasta shells. Toss gently until well coated in sauce.
