- 1 French bread loaf (12 inches)
- 8 oz thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 4 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 oz provolone cheese, shredded
- 4 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms until softened (about 5-7 minutes). Season with garlic powder.
- Increase heat to medium-high and add thinly sliced ribeye steak. Cook until browned and cooked through (approximately 3-5 minutes).
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and scoop out some soft bread from each half.
- On each half of the bread, spread half of both provolone and cheddar cheese. Top generously with the steak and vegetable mixture, then add the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice, serve hot, and enjoy!
