  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Black licorice or chocolate candy coating for decoration

Instructions

  3. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack; decorate with black licorice or chocolate coating for spider legs.
