Description
A hearty, comforting soup that tastes exactly like traditional stuffed cabbage rolls but without the tedious rolling. Slow-cooked to perfection with beef, cabbage, and rice.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small head of green cabbage, chopped into 1-inch ribbons
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and diced onions in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and diced tomatoes.
- Pour in the beef broth and stir until combined. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
- Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook on LOW for another 2 to 3 hours until cabbage is tender.
- Add the uncooked white rice and cook for one final hour on LOW, or until rice is tender.
