- 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced thin against the grain
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add sliced flank steak and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
- Stir in broccoli florets during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Mix cornstarch and water into a slurry; stir into the pot.
- Cook for another 15 minutes until sauce is thick and glossy.
