Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced thin against the grain
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced flank steak and stir to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Mix cornstarch and water into a slurry; stir into the pot.
  6. Cook for another 15 minutes until sauce is thick and glossy.
