- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cubed
- 4 cups beef broth
- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear in oil until browned.
- Place beef in slow cooker with broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry and stir into the pot.
- Cook for another 15 minutes until gravy thickens.
- Cook egg noodles separately and fold into the slow cooker before serving.
