Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Optional: Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger together in a bowl.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 6-7 hours or High for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove chicken to a plate and pour the cooking liquid into a saucepan.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water into a slurry, stir into the simmering sauce until thickened.
  7. Pour the thickened glaze back over the chicken and serve.
