- 3 tbsp white miso paste
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Optional: Scallions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook jasmine rice according to package directions.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken thighs until golden brown on both sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, and grated ginger.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken in the pan and reduce heat to medium.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens into a sticky glaze.
- Serve chicken over a bed of rice and garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
