- 1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
- 4 cups chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups chopped fresh kale (stems removed)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot over medium heat until cooked through and crumbled.
- Add minced garlic to the pot and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan until smooth.
- Add the chopped kale and simmer for 3-5 minutes until wilted.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
