- 2 lbs fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chilled unsalted butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for topping)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- Toss sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut cold butter into the dry ingredients until coarse crumbs form.
- Stir in 3/4 cup heavy cream and vanilla until just combined.
- Scoop onto baking sheet and bake at 425°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Whip heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Split warm biscuits and layer with berries and cream.
