- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider (fresh/unfiltered)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat until foaming.
- Whisk in brown sugar and apple cider until combined.
- Simmer for 10-12 minutes until reduced by half and syrupy.
- Slowly stir in heavy cream until smooth and glossy.
- Add sea salt and remove from heat immediately.
- Strain through a sieve and cool for 30 minutes.
