Description

A decadent fusion of slow-cooked BBQ pulled pork and a creamy four-cheese macaroni sauce, baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Cavatappi pasta
  • 3 cups shredded pulled pork
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyère, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Boil pasta for 2 minutes less than package directions; drain.
  3. Melt butter in a pot, whisk in flour for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Slowly whisk in milk until thickened.
  5. Stir in cheddar and Gruyère until smooth.
  6. Fold in pasta and pulled pork mixed with BBQ sauce.
  7. Pour into dish and top with extra cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
